Apple have been screwed by users on its hidden secret power mode deep inside iOS that deliberately slows your device as it ages. apple has admitted that it purposely slowed down older iphones in latest updates last december and since then there have been great dilemma among users .
Apple will now charge Rs 2,000 (plus taxes) for any user with an iPhone 6 or later, whose battery needs to be replaced. The price has been dropped from approximately Rs 6,000 (plus taxes) the partner service centers charged earlier . it can be considered as a compensation or whatever . hope the battery replacements solves out current problems.
Though i was so excited about ios 11 in its release time , i waited for reviews on it to update my phone and unfortunately the reviews weren't good enough for me to update it and hence i haven't been affected by the battery draining and slow working , But i was following queries on these lame performance of older iphones on the latest updates . A slew of users have also mentioned having difficulties using the control center from lock screen, including noticing faulty behaviour when changing songs or adjusting the volume .
Though apple admit its slowing down iphones , it is pointing out some good reasons for that and it has came up with a cheap battery replacement remedies too for iphones from iphone 6 and after.
